This article will outline what an Autodispatch policy is and how to make one
1. Log into VROMO
2. Navigate to the Auto Dispatch Policy Icon
An Auto Dispatch policy is a set of rules an order must meet before the order is either Dispatched (assigned automatically) or Offered (sent to the driver to accept or deny) by the system. This means that orders can be delivered autonomously without the need to manually assign an order from the Dispatch screen. Each site or location may have its own unique Auto Dispatch Policy.
Your VROMO account will come with a standard Autodispatch Policy that you may choose to use or you can create your own. This will be discussed during your VROMO Onboarding.
To create a new policy, select Add New Auto Dispatcher
From here you will be asked to name the policy. Once the policy has been named, there is a selection to add the Rules.
First, select if you would like to Offer or Dispatch the jobs. Then select the team of drivers all jobs for this policy will be delivered by.
Next you can start adding rules. For example, Dispatch a job when the time before next deadline is less than 30 minutes AND the driver has less than 2 jobs.
Once all rules have been applied, select Save Rule.
