How to build a Campaign

This article explains how to create and set up a Campaign.

How to create a campaign

  1. Log into VROMO.

  2. Navigate to the Campaigns tab.

  3. Click the Add New Sites button.

  4. Enter your Campaign name and click Save.

How to edit a campaign

  1. Log into VROMO.

  2. Navigate to the Campaigns tab and click the pencil icon on the Campaign you want to edit.

  3. On the General tab, you can change the campaign name and also link the Campaign to your Google Analytics account.
  4. On the Logo tab, to add your company logo, click the Choose File button and select the file you want to upload. To cleat the logo that you have selected, click the clear button.


  5. On the Theme tab, click the Enabled toggle to turn on or off the theme you are about to create.

    Click the Choose File button to add the Map Icon if you want to replace the car icon shown on the map on the phone screen, this will represent the driver's location on the map of the tracking link.

    In the Colors field, click the first box to select the background color of your tracking link, then click the second box to select the secondary accent colors on your tracking link using the color picker tool, or by entering the color Hex code or adding the combination of  Red, Green and Blue options to create your color.
  6. The SMS Template tab is where you manage the SMS function of the Campaign.

    On the Enabled toggle, if you turn this on, an SMS will be sent to your customers; if it is left off, an SMS will not be sent.

    The Send when dropdown will allow you to determine when the SMS is sent.

    The SMS Insert is where you enter the SMS that will be sent to the customer. The buttons above will allow you to embed the name of the order, the customer name, the site and the tracking link to allow the customer to access your Campaign via the SMS.

    The Send SMS for overflow jobs toggle will allow you to determine whether or not you send your tracking link SMS to be sent to your customers for jobs that are being delivered by a third party fleet. (Note: Turning this on can result in the customer receiving two SMS's, one from Vromo for your Campaign and one from the third party fleet).

    The Phone number masking toggle will allow you to mask the drivers phone number from the customer and vice versa. (Note: Phone masking will be charged separately for each interaction i.e. phone call or SMS between driver and customer. This feature is only currently available if you are based in the US, Canada, United Kingdom, Italy, Switzerland, Australia and New Zealand).
  7. On the Widgets tab, you can market your business to your customers.

    The Enabled toggle allows you to turn on/off all widgets.

    To add a widget, click the Add Widget button and select the widget type from the dropdown. Once you have filled in the relevant fields (if applicable), click the Save button.

    When you have added widgets, you can change the order that they will appear on your tracking links by dragging them using the dots to the left of the widget type. You can also edit the widget or delete it from the tracking link using those buttons.
  8. Click Save Campaign.
