Job Templates and Geofencing

This article will summarize what Geofencing is and how to enable it on a Job Template.

1. Log into VROMO

2. Navigate to the Auto Dispatch & Job Templates page

Geofencing refers to the ability for the tasks on the Job Template to autocomplete once a driver passes a predetermined radius around the task address. This removes the need to manually swipe that a task has been completed, however the manual swipe icon will still appear on the task.

For example, Geofencing can be used to autocomplete when the driver departs the restaurent with the food after the driver leaves the task radius around the restaurent. 

Under the Job Templates, all created Job Templates will appear. Select the template with the tasks you would like to set a Geofence.

From here, the Edit Output Tasks screen will appear. You will see the option to Customize the geofence. 

Below will show the additional Geofence options. Once the distance and other options are selected, select Save.

Geofence can be added to none or all tasks on a Job Template.
